Shipping and back-office employee (m/f/x)
For our business activity at our headquarters in Oostrozebeke (near Waregem/West Flanders) we are looking for a shipping and back-office employee who wants to be responsible for the shipping and forwarding of these goods, both by sea and by road.
Job Description
You will be the back office for the sales manager for a particular market and follow up his/her sales files from A to Z.
You check if the goods are ready for shipment per order.In consultation with your colleagues in your department, you plan the shipments on the schedule of sea containers and refrigerated trucks.
You receive the drivers on the day of loading, draw up the necessary documents after loading (invoice, packing list, CMR, etc.) and ensure administrative and financial follow-up until the truck or container has reached its final destination.
You maintain daily contact with customs, customers, transporters, embassies, chambers of commerce, etc. to ensure the administrative follow-up of your shipments to perfection.
You ensure that the Sales Manager you work with has all the necessary and relevant information.
You ensure a smooth and error-free follow-up of the sales files for your market.
Profile:
You are an administrative jack-of-all-trades.
You are someone who works meticulously.
You are organizationally strong and can work well together in a team.
Knowledge of Dutch, French and English is a must given the many international contacts.
By nature you are punctual and structured in completing tasks.
You have strong communication skills, both towards customers and internally in the company.
Preferably you have a bachelor's degree.
